Most fake brokers keep their numbers just about believable. Lumino Vault (luminovaults.com) does not. Its TEST PLAN offers “6500% / Trade” on deposits from $1,000 to $50,000. The UK FCA flagged the site, and the warning was shared on IOSCO’s I-SCAN network on 19 October 2026. The domain was registered on 28 February 2026.
What 6,500% means
At 6,500% per trade, a $1,000 deposit would return $65,000 from one position, with the original $1,000 handed back as well. No market moves that far that fast, and no broker could pay it out if it did. The rest of the menu is oddly modest by comparison:
| Plan | Per trade | Deposit |
|---|---|---|
| TEST PLAN | 6500% | $1,000 – $50,000 |
| BEGINNER PLAN | 3.1% | $400 – $25,000 |
| BASIC PLAN | 3.9% | $500 – $30,000 |
| STANDARD PLAN | 8.9% | $30,000 – $100,000 |
| BUSINESS PLAN | 12.9% | $100,000 – $1,000,000 |
Signs of a copied kit
The homepage title reads “lumino vault | CFD Trading — Trading on Stocks, Gold, Oil, Indices”, in lower case. The live chart showed “BTC/USD $0.00” when we visited. The page calls the firm “Globally Regulated” without naming a regulator, promises insurance “up to $1,000,000”, and quotes a reviewer called Malcom47 saying they made more than $200,000 in a month. That review appears, name for name, on other sites built from the same template.
Why would a site advertise a number that nobody could believe? Because it is not aimed at sceptics. It is aimed at people already talking to a “mentor” who explains that the TEST PLAN is a special, limited opportunity. The absurd figure filters for trust: anyone who accepts it is likely to accept the fees that follow. The ordinary-looking plans below it, at 3% to 13% per trade, are there to make the site look like a normal broker to everyone else.
