Verdict up front: Goldextrade.com is offline — not expired, but switched off by its own registrar under a registry hold on 15 August 2026, twelve months to the day after it was created and a year before its registration runs out. If you hold a balance there, document it today.
Verified evidence (checked 31 August 2026)
- Registrar suspension: goldextrade.com carries the registry status clientHold, applied 15 August 2026 by HOSTINGER operations, UAB. A hold is imposed by the registrar; it is not an expiry.
- Domain age: goldextrade.com was created 15 August 2025 (registrar HOSTINGER operations, UAB). Total operating life: twelve months.
- Paid a year beyond its death: the registry expiry date is 15 August 2027. The platform stopped resolving while its registration still had twelve months to run.
- Removed from DNS: name servers were switched to NS1.DNS-EXPIRED.COM / NS2.DNS-EXPIRED.COM. The address now returns NXDOMAIN — it resolves to nothing at all.
- No regulator notice could be located naming goldextrade.com on the FCA or FINMA warning lists. ScamAdviser scored the site 11/100, “Likely Unsafe”, flagging crypto and high-risk financial content. Sources: Verisign RDAP registry record for .com; FCA Warning List; FINMA warning list; ScamAdviser.

What is Goldextrade?
While it was reachable, goldextrade.com presented itself as an online trading platform offering cryptocurrency and other high-risk products. What it never supplied was a verifiable licence — no authorisation number that resolves on any regulator’s public register.
The registrar pulled it a year early
This is the central finding, and it rules out the innocent explanation. When a domain lapses, the registry shows it as expired or pending delete and the owner can usually renew. clientHold is different. The registrar applies it to a domain that is still validly registered, and it removes the site from the DNS immediately — which is why the address returns nothing rather than a parking page. Goldextrade.com was paid until August 2027 and went dark in August 2026. Nobody forgot a bill.
What the absence of a warning actually means
No published regulator warning naming goldextrade.com could be located. That is not a clean bill of health. Regulators warn about firms that reach their attention — usually because a firm claimed authorisation it did not hold, or because enough consumers complained. A platform never authorised anywhere, closing inside twelve months, can leave no regulatory paper trail at all. Registrars apply a hold for several reasons: abuse complaints, unverifiable contact details, or a fraud problem on the account. The registry record does not say which applied here, and we will not guess.
The pattern this fits
A short-lived domain, high-risk crypto products, no locatable licence and an abrupt registrar takedown inside the paid term is a recognisable shape. It is also why name-matching is dangerous: the FCA list carries GOLDWESTTRADE, GOLDEN FX TRADE and goldentradelimited.com, and FINMA lists a Goldex Management Ltd from 2019 at a Zürich address on an unrelated website. None is goldextrade.com.

Nothing above depends on trusting us. Search the name on Google, ask ChatGPT, and run the register checks named in the evidence box. A regulator warning takes about a minute to confirm on the regulator’s own website, and that minute is the cheapest due diligence available to any investor.
For this company specifically: look up the .com registry record for goldextrade.com and read the status field and the event dates — you will see the hold and the 2027 expiry side by side. Then type goldextrade.com into a browser. A live platform answers. This one does not.
If you have already deposited
Act on paper, not on hope. Save every screenshot, chat log, email, payment reference and wallet address before the platform can close your account — once access goes, so does your evidence. Report the loss to your national financial regulator and to your police force’s fraud unit. Tell your bank or card issuer immediately; where funds moved by card or transfer within recent weeks, a recall or chargeback is sometimes still possible. If you paid in cryptocurrency, the transaction cannot be reversed, but the receiving address is permanent evidence and exchanges can sometimes freeze onward movement.
Then brace for the second approach. Victims of investment fraud are frequently contacted again by people offering to recover the money for an upfront fee, sometimes posing as lawyers, regulators or the platform’s own compliance department. That is a second fraud aimed at the same victim. No legitimate recovery service, and no regulator anywhere, asks for a payment before returning your funds.
The bottom line
Created August 2025. Sold high-risk crypto products for twelve months without a licence anyone can find. Switched off by its own registrar in August 2026 with a year still paid on the clock. No regulator notice naming it could be located. If your money is inside it, preserve your records today and report the loss before the trail cools.
