BABA Option (babaoption.com) calls itself a global broker and advertises trades from just 1 dollar, a 10,000 dollar demo account and payouts of up to 888%. Japan’s Financial Services Agency warned on 6 October 2026 that BABA INVESTMENT (SVG) LLC, the company behind the platform, solicits Japanese investors without registration. The alert was shared with regulators worldwide through IOSCO’s I-SCAN.
888% on every ticker
The homepage ticker shows Alphabet, EUR/USD and BABA all paying the same 888%. A number repeated across every asset is not a market price. It is a sales figure. Fixed payouts on short timed trades are how binary option platforms work, and the platform sets the price that decides who wins.

Saint Vincent and a trademark notice
SVG stands for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where companies can register without any licence to offer trading to the public. The footer spends more words defending the BABA trademarks than explaining who regulates the platform. It also lists the countries it will not serve, which does not stop Japan’s regulator from warning that Japanese residents are being targeted.

Questions worth asking first
Which regulator licenses BABA INVESTMENT (SVG) LLC, and can you see that licence on the regulator’s own website? Who holds client money, and in which bank? A firm that answers clearly may be worth a second look. BABA Option answers neither on its site, and Japan’s warning tells you why.
