Velosyn (velo-syn.com) describes itself as “Autonomous Intelligence”, powered by a “Kinetic Engine” built for “volatile, high entropy domains”. If that sounds impressive but you cannot tell what it actually does, you are not alone. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission flagged it, and IOSCO shared the alert on 15 September 2026. ASIC also listed a second address, velo-syn.app.
What usually happens next
The “engineer” is friendly and patient. They ask about your savings, then suggest a small start, often around $250, to let the AI “learn” your profile. Soon they want to help you set up a crypto account and ask you to install a screen sharing app so they can guide you. That is the step that empties accounts.
The footer says © 2018 on a site whose domain is from April 2026. Small mismatches like that tell you the page was assembled quickly, not grown over years.
Velosyn: Protect yourself
- Never let a stranger control your screen.
- Never read out a code sent to your phone.
- Check any Australian provider for an AFSL on ASIC Connect.
What Velosyn wants from you
There is no product page, no price and no company detail. There is a button to “Activate Live Demo” and a form asking for your full name, phone number and email so you can “speak with a Solutions Engineer”. That form is the business. Once you send it, your details go to a call centre.

Expect more calls
If you already filled in the Velosyn form, expect calls from different numbers and different names. Some will say they are from a regulator or a recovery service.
Hang up, and check any caller yourself through the official website of the body they claim to represent.
