Swiss One Trust (swissonetrust.com) promises state of the art investment programmes that help you attain a 12% return per year, and an annual income “of up to 12%” it calls guaranteed. It lists a US freephone number and a Zurich number, with an E-Banking login. Switzerland’s FINMA warned about Swiss One Trust, and the alert was shared with regulators worldwide on 13 November 2024.
Swiss name, Swedish story
The name says Switzerland. The site says the company, Swiss One Trust KB, is registered in Sweden as a regulated trust management provider under anti money laundering rules. Those rules oblige a firm to check its customers. They do not authorise anyone to manage your savings or promise you a return. Neither the Swedish nor the Swiss regulator is named as a supervisor of investments.
| On the page | What it really means |
|---|---|
| “Guaranteed Annual Income of up to 12%” | Guarantee with an asterisk and no footnote |
| Registered in Sweden under AML rules | Not an investment licence |
| Phone: 1 888 and +41 43 | Two countries, no street address |
| E-Banking portal | A login, not a bank |
| Domain registered | 28 July 2015 |
Why a modest 12% is the dangerous kind
Twelve percent a year sounds sensible next to the crazy numbers on most scam sites. That is the point. It is pitched at careful savers, often retired, who would never touch a 30% a week plan. The word guaranteed does the rest of the work.
Any firm that holds client money and pays a fixed return would be a bank or a fund, and both need a licence you can look up. Swiss One Trust has been online since 2015 and is still on FINMA’s warning list.
