Binarymate (binarymate.com) sells forex, CFDs and options with a promise you can earn up to 95% in 60 seconds. Accounts start from $250, withdrawals are said to take one hour, and the menu carries the word REGULATED. France’s market regulator, the AMF, put Binarymate on its blacklist of unauthorised binary options sites on 22 August 2017. Nine years later the site is still selling.
Regulated by whom?
The word REGULATED sits in the menu, but no regulator, licence number or register link appears anywhere on the page. The company in the footer is registered in the Marshall Islands, at a registered agent address shared by thousands of shell companies. The Marshall Islands does not supervise binary options brokers.
The footer also says Binarymate does not serve the USA. Leaving one country out is not the same as being licensed in the others.

Ninety five percent in a minute
That headline describes a binary option. You bet whether a price goes up or down in the next 60 seconds. Win and you get up to 95% of your stake. Lose and you lose all of it. Over many bets the house edge does the rest. The EU banned selling binary options to ordinary investors in 2018 for exactly this reason.

The live manager problem
Binarymate offers live managers to help you succeed. On sites like this the manager is paid on what you deposit, not on what you earn. Expect friendly calls, a bonus offer and pressure to top up after the first loss. A bonus usually comes with trading volume rules that block withdrawals until they are met.
