Forex Futures Market names its regulator plainly: “Forex Futures Market is authorized and regulated by Australian Securities and Investments Commission.” Three days before we checked, that same regulator added the site to its investor alert list.

The claim and the listing
The site states it “operates in accordance with AUSTRALIAN law and ASIC regulations” and that it is “authorized and regulated by” ASIC. ASIC entered “Forex Futures Market (forexfuturesmarket.com)” on its Moneysmart Investor Alert List on 21 September 2026. A firm genuinely licensed by ASIC holds an Australian Financial Services licence with a number, and appears on ASIC’s own professional register. This site gives no AFS licence number, no ACN, no ABN and no Australian address — so the claim cannot be checked, which is generally the point.
Fixed yields need the licence it does not have
It advertises “Earn 3.6% APY** on your cash” and “5.6% yield.* Locked in.” Offering a locked-in yield to retail clients in Australia is a licensed activity. Advertising one while unlisted on the register, and while named on the regulator’s alert list, is the combination the alert list exists to flag.
The awards are from a magazine
Two badges appear: “Seamless User-Friendly Mobile App 2025 by Capital Finance International” and “Highly Transparent Broker 2025 by Capital Finance International”. Awards of this kind are publisher programmes, not regulatory assessments, and carry no supervisory weight whatever the wording suggests.
A 2009 domain with a 2025 site
forexfuturesmarket.com was created on 10 May 2009 and its registrar record last changed in September 2025; the footer reads “©️ 2025 forexfuturesmarket.com”. A sixteen-year-old domain carrying a one-year-old brand is the signature of an aged name bought and repurposed — useful because age alone makes a site look established.

An investor alert listing is a warning that a business may be operating without the authorisation it needs — not a criminal finding. But when a site names ASIC as its regulator and ASIC lists the site, only one of those two statements can be relied on, and it is not the one on the website.
