“Zero Reward Denial”, says the homepage of Funding Pips (fundingpips.com), under a Halloween banner offering 20% off and a claim of $324M+ in rewards paid to “over 3,000,000 traders”. Several of those traders describe something different: funded accounts closed days before a payout over a so-called CID match.
What a “CID match” cost these traders
| Trader | Account | What happened |
|---|---|---|
| India, Oct 2026 | #21013698, #21013694 | $1,145.71 payout refused after 12 months of paid challenges |
| Mexico, Sep 2026 | #20814604 | Closed 19 Sep, five days before a scheduled payout; $2,095 profit |
| India, Aug 2026 | #20250317, #20431815 | Banned for a “shared CID” with a trader in Morocco |
| Malaysia, Oct 2026 | Master account | Closed before his first ever payout |
A CID is a device or client identifier. Funding Pips uses it to say two accounts belong to the same person or share a device. The Mexican trader says he has never used a VPN or VPS and has never been to Sweden, where his supposed “match” lived. The Indian trader points out that he uses an iPhone on a home mobile network, while the other trader used an Android phone in Morocco. Both asked for a manual review and say they received template replies.
The licence in the footer
| Licence quoted | “Clearing House License, Ibc Regulation Act 2014 (Bfx2024004)” |
|---|---|
| What the firm says about it | Does not conduct brokerage; simulated trading only |
| Registered address | IFZA Business Park, DDP, Dubai |
| Support office | FundingPips Services Ltd, Nicosia, Cyprus (HE 450941) |
| Challenge prices | From $29 (Pro) to $39 (Standard) |
| Domain registered | 6 September 2022 |
The footer itself admits that the trading is simulated. That matters: the only real money in a simulated account is the fee the trader paid and the reward the firm decides to send. When the firm also decides, by its own automated report, which accounts are “linked”, it controls both ends of the payout.
One trader put the question plainly. If a rule was broken a year ago, why did Funding Pips keep selling him challenges for twelve months and only raise it when he asked to be paid?
⚠ Funding Pips in brief
- “Zero Reward Denial” on the homepage.
- Four traders report CID closures near payout.
- Simulated accounts; licence from an island registry, not a securities regulator.
- Domain registered September 2022.
