“You can work hard all your life. But success comes from informed decisions.” That is the opening line of Cyber Smart Solutions (cybersmartsolutions.com), an AI trading platform that says it is “Trusted by 650,000+ investors worldwide”. The Dutch financial regulator, the AFM, added the site to its boiler-room warnings on 26 October 2026.
Boiler-room tactics
The AFM uses the term boiler room for firms that cold-call consumers and push them into investments without a licence. Cyber Smart Solutions fits the script: Dutch and Belgian phone numbers for local trust, a Luxembourg business-centre address, “Free plan available” to get a name and number, then an “AI Assistant” and a human adviser to take it from there. The page also displays the names of Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC and MarketWatch under “Trusted by leading investors and institutions worldwide”. None of them endorses it.
The domain itself is old — registered on 5 February 2004 — but an old domain is not an old business. Expired domains with clean histories are bought and reused precisely because they look established. No licence, regulator or company number appears anywhere on the site.

A Bitcoin price stuck in the past
The market strip under the headline shows “BTC / USD $67,842.11 +2.35%”. On the day we checked, Bitcoin traded near $80,000. The other figures — S&P 500 at 5,248.49, Gold at $2,341.17 — are frozen too. They are typed into the page, not fed from a market. A platform that cannot show the real price of what it sells is showing you a picture, not a market.
