Verdict up front: Blackthorn Elite promises German-speaking investors a path to “financial independence” on a “user-friendly trading platform”. FINMA has put it on its warning list, and its domain is about five months old.

The FINMA warning
Switzerland’s financial regulator, FINMA, added Blackthorn Elite to its warning list in August 2026. FINMA uses that list for firms it believes may be offering financial services without the licence Swiss law requires. The entry lists blackthornelite.ltd and Turmstrasse 18, 6312 Steinhausen.
A FINMA warning does not mean every client has lost money. It means the regulator has looked and cannot find the authorisation this firm would need. Anyone dealing with it has no Swiss supervisor to turn to.
What the website shows
The site opens in German: “Ihr Weg zur finanziellen Unabhängigkeit mit Blackthorn Elite” — your path to financial independence — with menus for financing, account types and a financial overview. It names no licence and no company number.

Anzo Capital Review: Fund-Safety Warning, Unregulated Broker
The domain blackthornelite.ltd was registered on 8 April 2026. A .ltd domain costs a few dollars and says nothing about whether a limited company exists.
Do not confuse it with other firms using the Blackthorn name: FINMA’s list separately names a “Blackthorn Wealth Advisory”.

What this means for you
A five-month-old site on FINMA’s list gives you no Swiss protection if a withdrawal is refused.
Before you fund any broker account
- Search the FINMA warning list (finma.ch) and your own regulator’s register before sending money to any “Swiss” firm.
- A Swiss street address is not a Swiss licence. Genuine FINMA-supervised firms appear on FINMA’s own list of authorised institutions.
- Check the domain’s age. A young domain behind an “established” firm is a warning sign.
- Check the contact details. Foreign mobile numbers and emails on a different domain from the website do not belong to a real Swiss bank or broker.

Our view: Blackthorn Elite is on FINMA’s warning list and runs on a five-month-old domain. Keep your money away from it.
