Capital Edge Market (capitaledgemarket.live) tells visitors it is “FCA Regulated”. The FCA disagrees: the regulator it names has published a warning about this very website (on IOSCO’s I-SCAN, checked 20 October 2026). The domain was registered on 26 June 2026, roughly four months ago, yet the homepage claims 2.4 million traders.
The numbers behind the logo
18 billion dollars a month in volume would make Capital Edge Market one of the larger retail brokers anywhere. Firms of that size are household names, publish audited accounts and appear on several public registers at once. This one appears only on warning lists. The Mayfair street address is real; nothing ties this company to it.
⚠ Key findings
- Claims FCA, ASIC and CySEC regulation — no licence numbers.
- The FCA has warned about capitaledgemarket.live.
- Ticker frozen at BTC 67,412 while the market traded near 81,300.
- Domain registered 26 June 2026.

How to test the licence claim yourself
Type “Capital Edge Market” into register.fca.org.uk. You will find no authorised firm with this website. For Australia, search ASIC’s Professional Register; for Cyprus, CySEC’s list of regulated entities. A firm that is really authorised in all three would show up three times. This one shows up on the FCA’s warning list instead.
Three licences, none real
Under the “Start investing” button sits a row of badges: FCA Regulated · ASIC Licensed · CySEC Authorized · ISO 27001 Certified · Segregated Funds. The footer repeats it: “Regulated by FCA (UK) ASIC (Australia) CySEC (Cyprus)”. No licence number is given for any of the three. A regulated broker always prints its firm reference number, because clients are expected to check it. This site gives you nothing to check — except the FCA warning, which is very easy to find.

A price board stuck in the past
The scrolling ticker shows Bitcoin at 67,412 and Ether at 3,521. On the same morning, live feeds on other broker sites showed Bitcoin near 81,300 and Ether near 2,380. A real execution venue cannot run a stale board; this one is a picture of prices, not a market.
Already deposited?
Stop any further transfers, especially for “taxes” or “release fees”. Call your bank’s fraud line and ask about recalling the payment. Report the site to the FCA and to Action Fraud (UK) or your local police, and keep every email and chat with the “account manager”.
Bottom line: the regulator Capital Edge Market names is the regulator warning against it. Do not deposit.
