Verdict up front: GOLDX advertises a “Rule-based R:R — 1:3 by default” — three units of gain risked against one of loss. A user reports the opposite, tenfold: average profit around $20, average loss up to $200. Another says a $500 demo was 50% down on day one.

The ratio, advertised and reported
This is the sharpest piece of evidence in the batch, because both halves are numbers.

$200 average loss, $20 average gain
Vignesh kumar H, 24 April 2026:
“I strongly do not recommend this app. The profit and loss pattern is very concerning — average profit is around $20, while average loss goes up to $200. This creates a clear imbalance and makes it difficult to sustain any gains. Another major issue is the lack of transparency. The app does not provide full trading history, and users can only view the current day’s profit.”
Read the second half as carefully as the first. If you can only see today, you cannot work out your own running total. A user who cannot see their history cannot tell whether they are up or down over a month — which is precisely the period over which a 10:1 imbalance would become obvious.
To its credit, GOLDX Tech replied on 12 September 2026, saying losses never exceed the limits each user sets and that full history is available in the account dashboard. We record both.
Fifty per cent down, on the demo
Harvey Franco, 7 April 2026:
“only started a demo today. Results are in no way close to what I see in my account. I started using with $500 demo and GOLDX already in 50% drawdown. I don’t recommend.”
A demo account exists so you can watch the bot work without risk. Half the virtual balance gone on the first day is the demo doing its job perfectly — and it is the single best argument for always using one.
Set that against the store artwork, which advertises a monthly result of “Gain: +6250 Pips” against “Loss: -732 Pips”.
Premium, free, if you open an account
One of the store screenshots offers “Get Premium Free!” in exchange for opening a trading account through their partner and submitting the details, alongside a partner code.
That is the same mechanic we found on another app in this batch. The subscription is not really the business; introducing funded accounts to a partner broker is. It is why “free premium” is on offer at all, and it is why the broker you end up with is chosen by them rather than by you.
Three names
The app is GOLDX. The developer is GOLDX Tech. The package — fixed at first publication and unchangeable — is com.greenpipsfinance.fxapps. Whatever this launched as, it was Green Pips Finance.
What to do before trusting any signals bot
- Run the demo for a month and keep your own record of every trade, outside the app.
- If you cannot export or see full history, that is the finding. Transparency is not a premium feature.
- Check the advertised risk-reward against your own results after twenty trades, not two.
- Never take a partner broker because it unlocks a discount. Choose the broker first, on regulation alone.
- Pips are not money. A headline pip count tells you nothing without position size.

In fairness
GOLDX does carry proper risk warnings — “Trading gold, forex, oil and crypto involves risk of loss. Past results do not predict future results. GOLDX is not financial advice. The AI trading bot does not guarantee profit.” — and it answers its critics publicly. Several apps in this batch do neither.
The 3.5 rating is also doing honest work. It is not inflated, and it tells you roughly what the reviews tell you.
It is filed with our other Flagged Apps.
The verdict: a signals bot advertising a 1:3 risk-reward that one user experienced as roughly 10:1 against him, with no full trading history to check it by, and premium access dangled in return for funding an account with their partner broker. Use the demo, keep your own records, and pick your own broker.
