GallaeciaFX at gallaeciafx.com presents itself in careful corporate language as a firm handling currency and international trade finance for businesses. On 14 October 2026 the UK Financial Conduct Authority added GallaeciaFX to its public warning list. The polished tone does not change what that listing means, a firm operating without permission.
What the FCA said about GallaeciaFX
The FCA notice names GallaeciaFX with the website gallaeciafx.com and states the firm is not authorised by it and may be targeting people in the United Kingdom. The regulator is clear on what that costs you. There is no access to the Financial Ombudsman Service for a dispute, and no cover from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if your money is lost. Corporate wording about trade finance and factoring does not put a safety net under any of it.

A domain only months old
The gallaeciafx.com domain was registered on 24 June 2026. A genuine finance house has history, audited accounts and a traceable company behind it. GallaeciaFX pairs serious sounding language with a domain that is only a few months old and no licence you can verify. Formal wording is cheap to write. A real regulatory permission is not, and this firm does not have one.
What to do if you dealt with GallaeciaFX
Act quickly. Tell your bank or card provider you paid an unauthorised firm and ask about a chargeback or a recall. Keep every record, the payment receipts, the account or contract pages, the messages and any wallet addresses, because those are the details an investigator follows. Report the firm to the FCA and to your local police or cybercrime unit. Treat any offer to recover your funds for a fee as a second scam, because no honest agency charges a victim upfront. A quick search of the name on Google, TikTok or ChatGPT will show what others are saying.

GallaeciaFX ticks the boxes, a dated FCA warning, a brand new domain and formal claims it cannot back with a licence. Smooth language is not regulation. Keep your money away from this firm, and if GallaeciaFX approached you, report it so the next person is warned in time.
