Zen-XE (zen-xe.com) says it serves “2.5m+ customers” and has collected “25,000+ 5-star reviews”. Its domain was registered on 28 January 2026, nine months ago. In June the Autorité des marchés financiers of Quebec added it to its list of warnings, an alert shared through IOSCO’s I-SCAN network on 1 June 2026.
Two fees on one page
Near the top, Zen-XE advertises a “0.1% Lowest Fee”. Further down, the same page says “our low trading fees starting from just 0.5%”. One of those numbers is five times the other, and both are presented as the starting price.
| Products | Forex, crypto, CFDs, stocks, 530+ assets |
|---|---|
| Customers claimed | 2.5 million+ |
| Reviews claimed | 25,000+ five-star |
| Fee claims | 0.1% and “from 0.5%” |
| Regulation claim | Canada’s “Digital Currency Exchange Register”, no number |
| Domain registered | 28 January 2026 |
The “regulated” sentence
Zen-XE writes that “Exchanges are regulated under the Canada Government’s Digital Currency Exchange Register”. It gives no registration number and no company name. A money-services registration in Canada covers anti-money-laundering reporting; it is not a licence to offer leveraged CFDs or forex, which is exactly what Zen-XE sells. Quebec’s securities regulator has warned about it instead.
Two and a half million customers in nine months would be one of the fastest launches in retail trading history. A brand that size would have audited accounts, a named board and a licence number on every page. Zen-XE has none of these.
Before you deposit with Zen-XE
- Ask for the legal entity name and the exact registration number.
- Check it on the regulator’s own website, not via a link they send.
- Ask which fee applies, 0.1% or 0.5%, in writing.
⚠ Zen-XE in brief
- AMF Quebec warning via I-SCAN, 1 June 2026.
- Domain registered January 2026.
- 2.5m customers claimed.
- Two contradictory fee figures.
Check any claim of Canadian registration yourself on the FINTRAC money services business register, and remember that even a genuine entry there does not authorise leveraged trading.
