The listing states the app is “owned and operated by Tradematix LLC, a company registered under registration number 3583” in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. St Vincent’s Financial Services Authority states publicly that it does not licence or supervise forex and derivatives brokers. Number 3583 is a company formation number. Presenting it in the same breath as a description of trading automation invites a reader to treat it as regulatory standing, which it is not.

Listing it under Tools rather than Finance keeps it outside the stricter disclosure Play applies to financial services. The same developer does exactly this twice — its sibling app Olymp Matix, also filed under Tools, carries another 500,000+ installs from the same Kingstown address and the same registration number 3583.
Risk-free, but no decisions made
The listing says it is “completely risk-free and lets you practice with virtual funds”, that “The software does not predict markets and does not make trading decisions for you”, and that it “does not provide brokerage services, does not execute trades on behalf of users, and does not hold or manage user funds”. It also explains you can “set up strategy automation for your Quotex account in a few simple steps”. Quotex is a binary-options broker — a product banned for retail clients across the EU and UK. The app is a bridge to it.

That is the honest part of the listing — and it means an unlicensed offshore company is collecting location and personal data from over a million installs and passing some of it on.
