Escrow, but whose?
The listing promises “Escrow Protection — Your funds are protected in escrow until both parties confirm the trade, ensuring peace of mind” and “Top-Grade Security — KYC by trusted platform, two-factor authentication (2FA), and end-to-end encryption”. No escrow provider is named. No custodian is named. The KYC is performed by a “trusted platform” that is never identified. Escrow is a legal relationship with a named party; without one, the promise has nothing behind it.

The Data safety section declares “No data collected”. The same listing advertises KYC identity checks and two-factor authentication. Identity verification is, by definition, collecting identity documents. One of those two statements is wrong, and it is not the one about KYC.
Four identities for one app
The store name is Twendee. The legal developer is LE VAN HUNG, located only as “Vietnam”. The developer email is at twendeesoft.com, the listed support contact is at lazy-research.com, and the website is u2trades.com. Four unrelated names across one listing, with no street address anywhere, means there is no single party you could pursue if a trade went wrong.
PayPal for crypto, and a stale listing
It promotes payment “using a variety of local and global payment methods—bank transfers and PayPal”. PayPal’s terms do not permit peer-to-peer cryptocurrency purchases, and paying for crypto by PayPal is a well-known chargeback trap for the seller. The listing also has not been updated since 3 September 2025 — roughly twelve months — and carries only 17 ratings against 10,000+ installs.

This is not a finding of fraud. But peer-to-peer trading puts your coin in someone else’s hands for a period, and the only thing that protects you is a named escrow agent you can hold responsible. This app advertises the protection and withholds the name.
