Not every warning is about a brand new broker. Some copy a real, licensed firm to borrow its good name. On 14 October 2026 the UK Financial Conduct Authority warned that quorumcapitalltd.com is a clone using the identity of Quorum Capital Limited, an authorised firm that has nothing to do with the website. If a site using the Quorum Capital name contacted you from that address, this is what you need to know.
What the FCA said about the clone
The FCA notice identifies quorumcapitalltd.com as an unauthorised operator pretending to represent Quorum Capital Limited. The genuine Quorum Capital Limited holds FCA reference 601037 and uses a different official website, and the regulator makes clear it has no connection to the clone. Clones work by copying real registration details so they look legitimate. Dealing with the clone means no Financial Ombudsman access and no Financial Services Compensation Scheme cover, because the people behind it were never authorised at all.

Verified evidence
- FCA clone warning published 14 October 2026 naming the website quorumcapitalltd.com
- The clone copies the identity of Quorum Capital Limited, FCA reference 601037, which is a genuine authorised firm
- The genuine firm has no link to quorumcapitalltd.com and uses a different official site
- Clone domain quorumcapitalltd.com registered on 2 September 2026, only weeks before the warning
- As of 6 November 2026 the clone address no longer loads
Why a clone is so convincing
A clone is dangerous because the details it quotes are real. The firm number, the address and the history can all check out, because they belong to the authorised company being copied. The one thing that does not match is the website and the contact route. The genuine Quorum Capital Limited did not register quorumcapitalltd.com on 2 September 2026. A name you half recognise is exactly the hook, so always confirm a firm through the FCA register and use only the contact details listed there.
What to do if the clone contacted you
Act fast. Tell your bank or card provider you paid a firm the FCA has flagged as a clone and ask about a chargeback or a recall. Keep the emails, the account pages, the messages and any wallet or account numbers you were given, because those are the details an investigator follows. Report it to the FCA and to your local police or cybercrime unit. Do not contact the genuine Quorum Capital Limited through the clone site, and treat any later offer to recover your funds for a fee as a second scam, because no honest agency charges a victim upfront.

Vibeinvest Review: Unregulated Broker, Regulation Concerns
The lesson here is simple. A real firm name does not make a website real. The FCA says quorumcapitalltd.com is a clone, the domain is only weeks old, and the page has already gone quiet. Verify every firm on the FCA register before you send a penny, and if this clone reached you, report it so the next person is warned.
