The word optional is doing a lot
Reading a signal and deciding for yourself is one product. Letting software place live trades on a funded account is a different one, with a different risk profile and, in most jurisdictions, different regulatory treatment. Listing the second as an optional extra on the first flattens a real distinction.
The pause between receiving a call and acting on it is the only protection an inexperienced trader has. Automation removes exactly that.
Gold is where the leverage hides
Gold is usually traded retail as a leveraged contract for difference. Regulated brokers in most markets must publish the share of retail accounts that lose money on these products, and that figure is routinely between seventy and eighty per cent.
No such disclosure appears here. The listing promises “risk-aware trade setups” and “structured market analysis” without naming a single risk, a maximum loss, or the broker the automation would connect to.
Accurate, informed, complete — and unmeasured
The description offers “accurate market insights” and a “complete trading support system” without ever stating a number. The store graphics do: one in-app screen displays a 94% reading beside a signal.
A percentage shown inside a screenshot is not a published track record. There is no sample size, no date range, no monitored account and no named analyst attached to it — only the number, in a picture, where it reads as performance without ever being offered as a claim.
With 5,000 installs and no rating at all, there is also no independent user signal to weigh against the copy. Everything a prospective buyer can see was written by the seller.
TALK TO ETTRAN ABOUT A RECOVERY
Before you let anything trade for you
Find out which broker the automation connects to and whether that broker is regulated where you live. Ask what the maximum loss on a single position can be and what stops it. Run it on a demo account for a full month including a bad week. And treat “optional” as a description of the switch, not of the risk.
