A Swedish AB that Sweden warned about
“AB” is the suffix of a Swedish limited company. It is meant to signal a regulated Nordic asset manager. Sweden’s own financial supervisor has done the opposite: it has listed Fridhem Asset Management as a firm that is not authorised to offer these services.

Free money with a $4,500 entry fee
A pop-up appears on arrival: “Claim Your Free $650! Deposit $4,500 or more to unlock this exclusive offer. Hurry, this limited-time offer is only available for a short while!” Licensed asset managers in the EU are not allowed to lure clients with deposit bonuses. The bonus is the bait; the $4,500 is the catch.

Urgency and Telegram
The offer is “limited-time” and “only available for a short while”. A Telegram button sits in the corner. Pressure to decide quickly, and a move to a private chat app, are the two steps that come before most investment-scam losses.
‘Pioneers of commissioning profitable’ investments
The site says Fridhem is “pioneers of commissioning profitable and long lasting investment opportunities”. It names no fund, no custodian, no auditor and no licence — just a promise of profit and an account button.
⚠ Verified evidence
- Finansinspektionen warning about Fridhem Asset Management, 3 October 2025.
- “Free $650” for depositing $4,500 or more.
- Swedish “AB” name with no Swedish authorisation.
- Telegram contact and limited-time pressure.
How to check
Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute.
What to do if you paid Fridhem Asset
- Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
- Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
- Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
- Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
- Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.
The verdict: Fridhem Asset dresses up a deposit request as a gift. Sweden’s regulator has warned about it. Do not deposit.
