Verdict up front: Digital Crypto Commission (digitalcryptocommission.com) presents itself as a crypto regulator that certifies brokers and pays compensation. It is not a regulator. The Ontario Securities Commission listed it on 11 September 2026. Do not trust its certificates.

“Trusted Regulation” from a private website
The headline is “Protecting Innovation with Trusted Regulation”. The menu offers “Crypto Broker Certification”, “File a Complaint”, a “Dispute Resolution Process” and a “Compensation Fund”. Real regulators are government bodies. They do not sell membership.
Certificates that pre-date the commission
“Our Members” lists certificate numbers such as DCC-8604/25, each with “Compensation fund amount: €100.000 per complaint”. One member shows a registration date of 14 February 2025. The commission’s own domain was registered on 15 April 2025.

Why fake regulators exist
A fake broker points a nervous client to a “regulator” that vouches for it. When the client complains, the same network handles the complaint and asks for a fee to release the “compensation”. The certificate is part of the sales script.
Keep complaints away from it
Its complaint form asks for details of your losses. Sending them to an unofficial body can lead to a second approach, this time for recovery fees.
⚠ Verified evidence
- The OSC (Ontario) listed Digital Crypto Commission (digitalcryptocommission.com) on 11 September 2026 (IOSCO I-SCAN).
- It offers broker certification and a €100,000-per-complaint compensation fund.
- A member’s listed registration date, 14 February 2025, is earlier than the commission’s domain, 15 April 2025.
- It is not a government regulator.
How to check
Find your country’s regulator through IOSCO’s member list, then search the broker on that regulator’s own register. Ignore any “commission” the broker points you to.
The verdict: Digital Crypto Commission is a private website acting as a regulator to vouch for brokers, and the OSC has warned about it. Do not rely on its certificates or send it your complaint.
