Verdict up front: FXnity calls itself an “institutional grade” broker, but the company behind it is a Costa Rica limited liability company that shows no financial licence anywhere on its website. Its domain is less than two years old, and it offers leverage of up to 1:500.

Who is behind FXnity
The footer of fxnity.com, read on 21 September 2026, says the site is operated by FXnity Limited Liability Company (FXnity Sociedad De Responsabilidad Limitada), registered at an office building in Escazú, San José, Costa Rica, registration number 3-102-920598.
That is a company registration. It is not a licence to take deposits or deal in leveraged products, and the website names no regulator. We searched the Mauritius FSC public register for FXnity and found no entry.
A young domain dressed as an institution
The homepage headline is “Institutional Grade Liquidity” and “Prime Of Prime Liquidity”, with claims of a 12 ms response time and 100% STP/ECN execution. None of it can be checked from the outside.
The registry record tells a plainer story: fxnity.com was registered on 23 October 2024. On the review site Forex Peace Army, FXnity has only two reviews, both glowing, posted in February and March 2025. One reviewer, from Ontario, praises it as the “only Ontario broker” offering cTrader. Firms dealing with Ontario residents are expected to be registered with the Ontario Securities Commission; FXnity names no such registration.
Forex Peace Army lists FXnity’s leverage as 100:1. FXnity’s own homepage advertises 1:500.

What this means for you
Without a licence there is no regulator to complain to and no compensation scheme if the firm refuses a withdrawal or disappears. At 1:500 leverage a small move against you can wipe out a deposit in minutes.
Before you fund any broker account
- Look for a licence number you can check on the regulator’s own website — a company registration number is not a licence.
- Check the domain’s age and compare it with the company’s age.
- “Institutional” is a marketing word. Ask which regulator supervises the firm, then check that regulator yourself.
- Read review dates and reviewer histories. A handful of five-star reviews from one-review accounts is not a track record.

Our view: FXnity is a Costa Rica company with no licence shown, a domain under two years old and 1:500 leverage. That is not an institutional broker. Keep your money away until it can show a licence you can verify.
