The AMF blacklist
France’s market regulator, the AMF, maintains a public blacklist of websites offering investment services to French residents without the authorisation the law requires. pensioninvest.org was added on 4 September 2026.
Being on that list is not a finding about any one client’s experience. It means the regulator looked for an authorisation and did not find one — so there is no supervisor, no ombudsman and no compensation scheme behind this firm, and nowhere to take a complaint if money goes in and does not come out.
The word in the name
“Pension” is the most carefully protected word in retail finance. In the UK, pension transfer advice requires a specific FCA permission and a qualified adviser. In France, retirement savings products sit under their own regime. The word signals decades, safety and regulation — and it is doing all of that work here for a site selling CFDs on currencies and commodities, among the highest-risk retail products on the market.
Nothing about the site is a pension. The name simply borrows the reassurance.
“Commission-Free Deposit”
That phrase is a menu item. It is worth pausing on, because deposits are not where a broker makes money — spreads, overnight financing and withdrawal fees are. Advertising free deposits while saying nothing about the cost of withdrawing is a familiar shape: the door in is wide and well signposted, and the door out is not described at all.
“Transparent Conditions”
The homepage promises “flexible leverage, tight spreads, and regular market analysis”. Note what transparency means in a regulated firm: a published spread table, a published financing rate, a licence number, and a statement of what percentage of retail accounts lose money. Pension Invest publishes none of those. Transparency is asserted, not demonstrated.
“Flexible leverage” is the phrase to watch. In the EU, retail leverage is capped — 1:30 on major currency pairs, far lower on other assets — precisely because it is not meant to be flexible. A firm offering to flex it is offering to place you outside those limits.

What you give up
With an authorised broker your money is held in a segregated account at a real bank, the firm is audited, and if it fails there is a route to recover some of what you are owed. With an unauthorised one your balance is a number in the operator’s own database, and the only person who can release it is the person who benefits from not releasing it.
Before you fund any broker account
- Look for a licence number you can check on the regulator’s own website — a company registration number is not a licence.
- Check the domain’s age and compare it with the company’s age.
- Treat a bonus of 100% or more as a warning sign. Bonus terms are the usual reason withdrawals get refused.
- Read review dates and reviewer histories. A handful of five-star reviews from one-review accounts is not a track record.
- Treat the word “pension” as marketing until proven otherwise. Real pension business requires specific permissions that a firm will name and you can check.

Our view: Pension Invest uses the language of retirement security to sell leveraged CFDs, from a thirteen-month-old domain with no company, licence or address. Keep your money away from it.
