The AMF blacklist
France’s market regulator, the AMF, maintains a public blacklist of websites offering investment services to French residents without the authorisation the law requires. act-capital.io and client.act-capital.cc was added on 28 July 2026.
Being on that list is not a finding about any one client’s experience. It means the regulator looked for an authorisation and did not find one — so there is no supervisor, no ombudsman and no compensation scheme behind this firm, and nowhere to take a complaint if money goes in and does not come out.
Two messages, seconds apart
The carousel headline is about safety: “The Safest Place to Trade — Secure, transparent trading with trusted risk management systems.” Then the popup arrives in the corner: “Are You Missing Out In the Bull Market?” and a button reading TRADE NOW.

Those two messages are aimed at different parts of the same reader. The first lowers the guard; the second supplies the urgency. Fear of missing out is the single most effective pressure in retail investing, and a firm that markets safety while manufacturing urgency is using both instruments at once.
A Swiss number is not a Swiss licence
The header carries +41 31 900 2632 — a Swiss dialling code, Bern area. Nothing else on the site is Swiss: no company, no address, no FINMA reference, no registration number.
A phone number is bought, not earned. Swiss numbers are available from any voice-over-IP provider in minutes, and they are used in this trade for exactly the reason you would expect: Switzerland means banking. Firms genuinely supervised in Switzerland appear on FINMA’s own published list of authorised institutions, which takes thirty seconds to search.
“Trusted risk management systems”
Trusted by whom? Real risk management in a broker means negative-balance protection, margin close-out rules, segregated client funds and an audited capital position — each of which is a specific, checkable commitment. “Trusted risk management systems” is a phrase shaped like all four, committing to none of them.

The sibling domain
The AMF listed act-capital.io and act-capital.cc on the same day, alongside a cluster of other names. Running a second domain in parallel is how these operations survive a listing: when one address is blocked or flagged in browsers, the traffic is already pointed somewhere else.
Before you fund any broker account
- Look for a licence number you can check on the regulator’s own website — a company registration number is not a licence.
- Check the domain’s age and compare it with the company’s age.
- Treat a bonus of 100% or more as a warning sign. Bonus terms are the usual reason withdrawals get refused.
- Read review dates and reviewer histories. A handful of five-star reviews from one-review accounts is not a track record.
- A foreign dialling code is not a jurisdiction. Look the firm up in that country’s own register before you believe the number.
