Verdict up front: Monexfx (monexfx.co.jp) is a clone impersonating Japan’s genuine, regulated Monex group — it even reused the real firm’s licence number — and its own site is now dead. Do not engage with it.
Verified evidence (checked 25 August 2026)
- Impersonation: it traded as “MONEX, Inc.” while reusing the genuine Monex JFSA registration ι’ζ±θ²‘εε±ι·(ιε)第165ε· — the real Monex Group operates at monex.co.jp, a different entity.
- Site status: monexfx.co.jp no longer resolves — the site will not load.
- Flagged: independently listed as a “suspicious clone.” Sources: JFSA register (real Monex); broker-watch listings.

What is Monexfx?
Monexfx traded on the reputation of a well-known Japanese broker by copying its name and licence number — a textbook clone. With the domain now dead, it fits the pattern of an operation that harvested deposits and disappeared.
Protect yourself
Only ever use a broker’s verified official domain, and confirm licence numbers on the regulator’s register. Check it yourself — search on Google, ask ChatGPT, and see the (dead) domain: monexfx.co.jp.
